Support Groups
For years, so many Acromegaly patients felt alone, struggled with undiagnosed symptoms, confused about what is happening to their bodies, lived with chronic pain. We couldn’t talk to family and friends about everything without being judged, ignored or told we are hypochondriacs. All of these things, and more, have made us feel isolated. We were alone.
By finding and being part of an Acromegaly Support Group, you will find people who have struggled with the same issues and concerns you have. This common ground provides a safe space where you can share experiences, find understanding, and build connections with others facing similar challenges.
Often times, these group hold events, webinars, etc. so that you can build your relationships and network, expanding your Acro Family. The benefits can be endless and bring you out of a dark place if you are stuck in one.
The following list has been composed of known support groups that we trust, and most are private groups so you will not be trolled or judged by others.
